The food here is delicious... absolutely wonderful. On our first trip, my husband and I both had the Hulk Smash. We also had a side of cheesy potatoes. Both the sandwiches and the potatoes were very flavorful and completely perfect. I had been craving a good Bloody Mary, and I had had one at a different the place the week before and had walked away thoroughly unsatisfied. The one here was the one I had been seeking. I added a pic too, as the garnish was like a little snack to go with it. Their bacon was meaty and delicious. I'm not generally a big bacon eater, but the bacon here was meaty enough to draw me in, which says a lot for me.
The next time we went, my husband stuck to the Hulk Smash, having enjoyed it so much he, as a creature of habit, did not want to deviate from a tried-and-true meal. I got a turkey, cranberry, and brie sandwich, which came with chips and a choice of a couple of different sides, which I chose to be some cottage cheese with dried cranberries and nuts in it. I also had a bottomless mimosa...at $14.95, the bottomless mimosa is hardly a steal, but the waitress kept giving me new ones before I could even finish the last one, so it eventually evened out, although I had to just stop myself at some point or I think she would've kept delivering them.
Service was very attentive. Food was great. We sat outside, which allowed us to do a little people watching, although it wasn't the most scenic patio ever, and we did have the constant company of some flies. However, both times, the weather was lovely and we were thrilled to be able to sit outside. The outdoor seating is limited, but there is some inside. Personally, I preferred the outside, as the inside was much darker and the tables were high-tops, which are not my first choice. -

First off, the village itself is a cute and quaint little area in the Quad Cities. After running the Quad Cities Half Marathon, I was looking for a good brunch and beer spot. This place met both those requirements!
I ordered a flight - they had a selection of local and non-local craft beers. For food, I ordered the build your own breakfast bowl with eggs, tomato, spinach, and smoked Gouda. Since I was starving, I ordered a side of the cheesy breakfast potato casserole (only served on Saturday and Sunday). The casserole was definitely my favorite part of the meal. For the main entry, I wish I had gone with something else like the Hulk Smash or the Biscuits and gravy. My breakfast bowl was a little boring compared to other items they had listed (which it's my fault since I selected boring ingredients!) -

Based on one visit. Nice outdoor seating and friendly fast staff. Cannot bring dogs into the outdoor patio but staff brought water for our dog as she was just outside the gate. Nice selection of local beer and the food was delicious with classy presentation. Road is a bit close so there was a bit of Saturday morning traffic noise as well as more than a few flies.

This is one of my favorite little restaurants in the QC. The food always tastes amazing whether it's for brunch or for lunch/dinner. Definitely recommend the hulk smash at breakfast and the turkey sandwich for lunch or dinner. Bottomless mimosas are also well worth the money

My husband and I needed a quick breakfast spot while we were in the Quad Cities for a wedding and decided to give BREW in the Village a try. It already felt like 90 degrees at 9:30 AM so we skipped the outdoor patio to eat inside and while it initially felt a little dark and uninviting inside, the service was so friendly (and efficient) that we immediately felt welcome and taken good care of.
I ordered the Hulk Smash and thought it was incredible! The eggs were perfectly scrambled, the cheese was melty, the bacon was crispy, the avocado was creamy, the bread was toasted just right and that garlic mayo really pulled it all together. My husband loved his biscuits and gravy as well. At the end of our meal, our server asked if we needed coffee to go and it was one of those brilliant "why doesn't EVERY place ask that?" moments. If I'm ever back in QC, I'll definitely be back here!
